I am pleased to present the Zoe's Club Financial Literacy Program to the Ozark Federal Credit Union's younger members. Ozark FCU's mission is to promote the wise use of money (the old-fashioned word is thrift). Zoe's lessons embody this mission for a younger generation warmly and whimsically. In her adventure of becoming the credit union mascot, she learns simple lessons children can use throughout life.
We hope this program will develop a love for wise financial decisions for years to come. After creating the program, we obtained permission from NCUA to allow Ozark FCU to share the program with other credit unions. This will enable Zoe's Club to be in credit unions nationwide, teaching these essential life skills to the next generation within an industry with a passion for protecting its members.

Zoe's Club has been a successful program within Ozark Federal Credit Union for several years. We have several local institutions and community partners who feel the benefit of having Zoe's Club has been beneficial within the communities we serve. Zoe's Club is built around fundraising events through Zoe's Club Parties. Many of these endorsements have experienced this outreach firsthand.
We shared our vision for Zoe's Club with the Heartland Credit Union Charitable Foundation and was awarded a grant to help subsidize printing of the book, Zoe Finds a Job, allowing us to increase our book order, making it available to our six-county field of membership.
Listed below is what a few of our community leaders have said about the Zoe's Club program and the valuable lessons taught in her book; Zoe Finds a Job.
“Zoe Finds a Job is a great example of a leading credit union putting forth original financial literacy education in a format that is engaging and accessible. The Heartland Credit Union Charitable Foundation is pleased to support this project as Ozark Federal Credit Union works to make a lasting impact both in and out of its local community. We are confident that Zoe’s Clubs will spread to share a positive message of financial capability.” shares Andrea Robinson, Executive Director of the Heartland Credit Union Charitable Foundation.
"Zoe Finds a Job captures the attention and hearts of young readers while providing education on financial literacy. The book engages children while providing a whimsical backdrop for important conversations surrounding fiscal developmental opportunities. Highly recommended!" ~ Stacey L Scobey, Designing Women Foundation President
